What is NRPF?

NRPF means that people cannot access basic support such as Child Benefit or Universal Credit. This means that many people, often single-parent families with young children, do not have enough income to afford basic housing or food at all during times of unemployment and crisis, or when doing low-paid work.

Some people can apply to have the NRPF condition removed.

How can The Unity Project help?

The Unity Project support people with ‘No Recourse to Public Funds’ (NRPF) to make an application to remove this restriction. People can make this application themselves.

There is information about the application on The Unity Project website

If anybody needs further support with the application, they can contact The Unity Project via their webform, or email [email protected]

Other languages

The Unity Project can help provide interpreters if needed. Please contact them via the webform on the website or email for more information.
